  • Designed, implemented, and maintained scalable clustered web system architecture for www.redhat.com and www.wideopen.com, including web servers, application servers, load balancing, distributed file management and configuration, development environment, code management system, and web database systems.
  • Designed and Managed Solaris- and Linux-based web servers, FTP services, back-end integration systems, and development environments for various clients, including content management, database integration, data integrity, and general maintenance.
  • Developed, maintained, and administrated a programmable, interactive multi-user environment used for distance education and research supporting over 5000 active users.
  • Developed Intranet and Internet web solutions for multiple companies and organizations, including developing web site content and web-based database access and application solutions.
  • Performed unix system and Oracle database administration tasks, HP-UX system upgrades, Oracle database upgrades, and maintenance of custom integrated systems on multiple HP-9000 servers and HP workstation clusters for a large automotive parts manufacturer.
  • Helped develop and maintain a network-based real-time communication server, consisting of over 35,000 lines of C source code, currently being used on a variety of platforms by over 30 educational and research institutions for telnet and web-based interaction and collaboration using the Internet.
  • Developed networked interactive hypertext, whiteboard, and 3D visualization system to support construction, display, and interaction with arbitrary data and environments by multiple simultaneous users.
